About Me

My name is Nikki Boatwright and I'm the voice behind Captured on the Run. Here I'm able to fuse several passions  -  travel, hiking, running, photography, and story telling. 

After losing my job as a result of COVID-19 and dealing with all the blows 2020 has leveled, escaping into nature has been one of the things that's kept my spirits up and my sanity intact.  I'm excited to share my adventures and hope that they capture your imagination and inspire you to explore what captures you.
